The Impact of
The Salvation Army in Southern Nevada

We operate 16 facilities and over 20 programs and services throughout Southern Nevada.
 

The Salvation Army gives a hand up, not a hand out and we serve those in need without discrimination or judgment.

The Salvation Army offers healing to all who cross a Salvation Army threshold through programs and services for:

​

  • Those who need mental health counsel

  • Rescue from human sex trafficking

  • Freedom from alcohol, drug and gambling addictions

  • Nourishment to the hungry and those in need

  • Shelter and support to the homeless and broken

  • Care, shelter and meaning for seniors

  • Struggling families

The Salvation Army believes every human life is an important life:

  • 18,000 food and comfort packages to needy families annually

  • 127,750 homeless provided with support annually

  • 182,750 nights of homeless shelter on Salvation Army beds annually

  • 1,000+ meals a day served to needy and homeless from Salvation Army Kitchens

  • 472 beds and apartments available for seniors and those in need annually

  • 300 lives freed from addictions through long-term alcohol/gambling programs annually

  • 2,000 families and 6,000 children get back-to-school and Christmas help annually

  • 4,200 days annually for children in after school programs
